Implementing the new legislation on EGTC – Dialogue with the national authorities – Proceedings of the workshop held at the Committee of the Regions

Abstract

On 26 June 2014, the Committee of the Regions and the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union jointly organised a workshop aimed at strengthening the dialogue between EGTCs and national authorities with regard to the implementation of the new EGTC Regulation and the implementation of specific provisions of the new Cohesion Policy that are relevant to the EGTC. About 80 participants took part in the event, representing EU institutions, EU Member States – including Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Romania and France –, third countries, EGTCs, local and regional authorities, territorial associations, and experts.
