Oszkár Seszták, President of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Assembly, visited Transcarpathia.

On Monday, Oszkár Seszták, President of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Assembly, András Kiss, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Council Member and Andrea Szabóné Cap, Director of Tisza EGTC, arrived in Transcarpathia for an official visit.

The guests were welcomed by Roman Saray, President of the Transcarpathian County Council,Co-Chairman of Tisza EGTC, Myroslav Bileckij, Head of the Transcarpathian Counties Military Administration, Andrii Sheketa, First Deputy President of the Transcarpathian County Council, Yuriy Huzinec, Deputy Chairman of the Military Administration of the Transcarpathian Counties, Judit Yevchak, Deputy Director of the Tisza EGTC, and heads of the departments responsible for cross-border cooperation.

During the meeting, the winning applications of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Interreg Next 2021-2027 were discussed. President Saray Román pointed out that 33 of the 43 winning applications will be implemented with the participation of the Transcarpathian County, including four of the winning applications involving Tisza EGTC, which he congratulated, as well as President Seszták on his fifth election as the head of the County Assembly. 

President Seszták thanked the partners for their good wishes and assured them that the cultivation and development of good relations between the counties will remain a priority for the future.  The meeting also discussed the further provision of recreational opportunities for children in Eastern Ukraine, the large-scale joint infrastructure projects planned for the coming period and the participation of Tisza EGTC in direct tenders in Brussels.
