Investment opportunities for the development of Transcarpathia were discussed at a meeting with CESCI Secretary General Gyula Ocskay

On Friday, 25 April, Gyula Ocskay, Secretary General of the Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives (CESCI), visited Transcarpathia. The meeting, organised with the assistance of Tisza EGTC, was attended by Roman Saray, President of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, Yuriy Huzinets, Deputy Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Military Administration, Taras Haiduk, Deputy Secretary of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, Mikhailo Dzykhar, local representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Halina Loboda, Head of Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Military Administration, Uljana Khurchumelija, Head of Department of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, Elvira Lesishin, Head of Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Military Administration, Judit Jevcsák, Deputy Director of Tisza EGTC, and Karolina Dancs, Project Manager.
President Roman Saray thanked Gyula Ocskay for his many years of systematic work in strengthening intergovernmental relations and for his personal contribution to the development of cross-border cooperation between Transcarpathia and the eastern regions of Hungary. CESCI actively participated in the establishment of Tisza EGTC ten years ago, and since then the organisation has successfully demonstrated the effectiveness and diversity of its activities.
During the meeting, the parties discussed investment areas for the development of Transcarpathia, which are linked to the accelerated EU accession process and possible EU funding. They agreed to continue their cooperation in the future in preparing project proposals and identifying EU funds that could be used for their implementation.
