Tisza EGTC

The first EGTC workshop of this year took place on 9 April at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The event, at which Tisza EGTC was represented by Director Andrea Szabóné Cap, featured important and interesting presentations on the functioning and daily activities of EGTCs.

The event featured informative presentations by, among others, expert Viktória Lilla Pató, who, on behalf of the Hungarian Development Promotion Office, gave an overview of directly accessible Brussels resources relevant to EGTCs, Project Manager Mónika Simon and Director Mátyás Jaschitz, representing the Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives, presented the relevant Interreg resources still available to EGTCs, as well as current development plans and resources.

In the second half of the day, Dr. Gabriella Solymosi-Dobi, Head of the Regional and Cross-Border Development Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, spoke about current issues at the Ministry, the role of EGTC management, the pitfalls of support contracts, the results of the 2025 and new developments in legal supervision (self-assessment checklist).
