On 25-26 March 2025, the DigiCare4CE – Interreg Central Europe project consortium took part in an important meeting in Prague, hosted by our project partner, the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (ČVUT CIIRC).

The main purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the progress of the project and to discuss the next steps in our joint efforts to develop digital solutions for elderly care in Central Europe. The consortium discussed in detail the planned results of the project and their potential impact on long-term care in the region.

One of the topics of the meeting was the development of the Transnational DigiCare4CE Model, identified as one of the key results of the project, which aims to help elderly care institutions use new technologies more effectively in everyday care. After assessing the current situation, the partner organisations reviewed the development opportunities and how further development of the tool could benefit those working in and receiving elderly care in Central Europe.

The meeting highlighted the importance of close cooperation between international teams working towards a common goal. The consortium remains committed to developing innovative solutions and digitalisation in elderly care in order to support communities in Central Europe.

We look forward to the continuation of the DigiCare4CE project and the positive changes that can be expected from the digital transformation of long-term care.
