In 2016, the Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives (CESCI) launched the Legal Accessibility initiative with the support of the Hungarian Ministry of Justice. The goal was to comprehensively identify the legal obstacles along the Hungarian borders.

The current project (implemented in 2018) focuses on three key areas: designing cross-border ambulance services, setting up cross-border health services, reviewing legal obstacles and experiences about EGTCs with a Hungarian interest. The current study summarises and analyses those administrative obstacle experienced by the Hungarian EGTCs.
