New perspectives for the revision of the EGTC Regulation (CoR 100/2010) – Position paper – Mission Opérationnelle Transfrontalière (MOT)

Abstract

The current position paper aims to work with the EGTC Regulation and with the issue of its revision. Subsequently, the paper works with the following dimensions: strategic European interest of territorial cooperation in the EU; ideas about the reasons that hinder or negatively influence the establishment of the EGTC; measures to promote institutionalised territorial cooperation; promoting the community legislative instrument of the EGTC with a view to stepping up European territorial cooperation and improving the procedure of creating an EGTC.
