Literature of particular Hungarian EGTCs

The European Union explicitly encourages the operation of regional alliances based on the cooperation of state, municipal, and civil organizations. Today, particularly in the literature, there is increasing reference to a “Europe of networks,” understood as the system of relationships among the actors that constitute and operate the regions.

The research underlying this book examined the characteristics of civil organizations operating in the Ister-Granum Euroregion and the relationships formed among them. One of the objectives was for the results—and the recommendations derived from them—to serve as a basis for developing a possible civil strategy for the Euroregion, within the framework of a reorganized Civil Parliament.
