CROSSING THE BORDERS – Studies on cross-border cooperation within the Danube Region – Case Study – Pons Danubii EGTC

Abstract

Cross-border cooperation is one of the most topical issues in Europe, receiving particular attention within the framework of European regions. The subject of this case study is the cross-border cooperation carried out by the Pons Danubii EGTC. The study provides a comprehensive overview of the region and its historical development. In addition, it informs the reader about the organizational structure and activities of the EGTC, as well as its future plans for cross-border cooperation. Finally, the study evaluates Pons Danubii through a SWOT analysis.
