The Arrabona European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) is co-organizing the Győr Climate Expo for the fourth year in a row. The organization sent a six-member delegation to the 6th GreenTech Green Energy and Sustainability Exhibition and Conference, which was held at the ZalaZONE Vehicle Testing Track on May 22-23, 2025. Participation was made possible by a support program launched by CESCI this year, which helps members attend professional events that are relevant to them. Gaining professional experience and networking

During the two-day event, representatives of Arrabona EGTC:

• learned about the latest green technology developments and sustainability solutions,
• built relationships with domestic and international players in the fields of energy efficiency, circular economy, water management and green mobility,
• visited the ZalaZONE test track infrastructure, which is one of the centers for automotive and smart transport innovation.

Presentations and professional content

The delegation members attended several plenary and thematic presentations on key topics such as:

• energy independence and decentralized energy production,
• circular economy and local examples,
• green transport and urban mobility,
• sustainable water management,
• financing green investments from EU and domestic sources.

Benefits for Climate Expo

The event provided valuable inspiration for the further development of Climate Expo in Győr. Arrabona EGTC learned about a number of adaptable good practices and innovative solutions that can contribute to raising the professional standard of its own event and expanding its reach. According to the participants, the examples seen in the areas of community energy, green transport and water management are particularly applicable in the Győr-Moson-Sopron and Nitra regions.
