European perspective

This Report works with the cross-border cooperation mechanism, namely the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation. Territorial co-operation among regional and local authorities across Europe gained important political and legal recognition and the EGTC allows local and regional authorities to create stable structures for territorial cooperation at cross-border, transnational and interregional level. The Report works with political and legal contexts of EGTCs, their tasks, funding issues and examples of added value of an EGTC.
