Meeting with MOUNT GREENFRA project partners

The partners of the MOUNT GREENFRA project, which is being implemented under the Hungary-Slovakia Interreg Programme, took part in a professional meeting focusing on the planning and coordination of investments in green and blue infrastructure.

The aim of the meeting was for the partners to share their experiences in the field of green and blue infrastructure and to discuss the sustainable use of rainwater, ecological revitalisation and concrete steps for implementing climate adaptation solutions in the Hungarian and Slovak regions participating in the project. The participants presented their own approaches, inspirations from previous projects, and the activities they are preparing to implement within the MOUNT GREENFRA project.

The programme was also enriched by joint field trips, during which the partners viewed practical solutions for green and blue infrastructure in both urban and rural environments. Green walls, rainwater collection and utilisation systems installed on buildings, and local solutions for rainwater retention and drainage were presented.

The meeting was an important step in the joint development of green and blue infrastructure and provided an opportunity for different regions to share their experiences.
