Project CITYCIRCLE – Circular economy hubs in peripheral urban centres in Central Europe was approved within the third call for proposals of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE.

CITYCIRCLE is improving innovation capacities of peripheral urban centres by introducing the circular economy system to partner cities. Peripheral cities of Central Europe are characterised by the lack of cooperation in the field of innovation and the lack of access to global innovation processes. Circular economy is a development concept that ensures the sustainable and efficient use of resources. The main result of the proposal is to set up quadruple-helix circular economy hubs in partner cities and to equip them with knowledge and tools enabling them to design circular economy value-chains.
