The proposal aims to support the improvement of business cooperation between municipalities in the border region, and to implement a strategic plan for the Banat-Triplex Confinium EGTC (by conducting a study). Furthermore, it provides equipment for the regional office in Jimbolia, thus facilitating their supporting activities and activist work.
The main goal of the proposal is the following:
Strengthening the cooperation between the Southern Great Hungarian Plain and the West-Romanian regions, which would enhance economic growth by exploiting regional and networking benefits along with potential networking tools, as well as preparing the strategic plan of BTC-EGTC. Cross-border cooperation may help local governments, companies and local stakeholders to develop a joint concept and to outline a successful strategy.
The key to success is to make use of the special local characteristics and opportunities, as well as inducing economic growth.
