Several bilingual training sessions were held in the framework of the project:

– smart devices (the use of smartphones, tablets, software, etc.),
– e-administration (tax, government, e-business, consumer protection),
– job seeking for people over 50 (resume, job interview),
– multilingual courses (SK, HU, EN), 32 – 128 hours of training.

Workshops and conferences were organised to exchange good practices. They were structured around four main topics:

– ageing and employment (workforce and income),
– ageing and innovation (new technology, as opposed to independent living),
– ageing and competitiveness (adoptive enterprises, senior internal strategy),
– wellness and healthy ageing (related products and services).

Round-table meetings took place in 6 counties (with the examples and experiences of government officials on regional silver economy and ageing strategy). In addition, we organised an exhibition and fair (with 125 exhibitors), with the purpose of raising awareness to the changing consumer behaviour of this age group. Furthermore, it needs to be highlighted, that people over 50, who form the market of the silver economy, can also boost the economy as by having an interest in new products and services, which the market has to be prepared for as well.
