Thanks to the joint tender of Ister-Granum EGTC, the Ministry of Construction and Transport and Hungarian Public Road Co., a new border crossing point has been inaugurated at the Slovak-Hungarian Danube section shortening by tens of kilometres the distance between the Mária Valéria Bridge between Esztergom and Štúrovo and the Erzsébet Bridge connecting Komárom and Komárno, thus making it possible to reach the settlements on both banks.
On the last day of April 2023, the Ister-Granum EGTC held the closing event of four related tenders in Esztergom.
At the end of 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade launched a call for proposals to support the operational and project funding activities of the European Groupings for Territorial Cooperation in 2023. The available funding was HUF 170 million, of which a maximum of HUF 17 million per applicant could be awarded.
On 29 November 2022, Tibor Navracsics, Minister for Regional Development, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the representatives of seventeen organisations, including the Ister-Granum and the Pons Danubii EGTCs.
The Ister-Granum EGTC organised a workshop on local product trademark in Búč and Kesztölc.

On 28-29 June 2022, the Ister-Granum EGTC organised a two-day study tour to the region of Sopron and the Neusiedler See on which local producers and tourism service providers from Esztergom, Štúrovo, and Börzsöny participated.
