Study tour for the mayors of the Szigetköz and Žitný ostrov member municipalities

On 14 November 2024, the Arrabona EGTC organised a successful study tour for the mayors of the Szigetköz and Žitný ostrov municipalities. The aim of the event was for the participants to get to know each other better, while gaining insight into the sites of joint projects with Arrabona.
During the programme, the mayors visited several municipalities, including Horný Bar, Mierovo, Dunajská Streda and Veľký Meder. Each of the sites provided an opportunity to discuss joint projects and to review future cooperation opportunities. The municipalities visited are all closely linked to the developments implemented by Arrabona EGTC, which play an important role in the development of the region.
During the event, delicious snacks and refreshments were served, making the programme not only substantial but also pleasant. Throughout the day, the mayors actively participated in the programmes and had many opportunities to exchange experiences.
It was a pleasure to organise such a successful event and to bring the mayors of the Szigetköz and Žitný ostrov municipalities closer together. Such meetings are key to the development of the region, as they strengthen cooperation and joint work.
