Implementation of the CROSSDEST project has started

The “Cross-border Destination Development for Inclusive and Sustainable Tourism in the Slovenian-Hungarian Border Region” (CROSSDEST) project started on 1 November 2024.
The partners of the project are Hévíz Tourism Nonprofit Ltd. (HU), Pannon EGTC (HU-SI-HR), Murska Sobota Development Centre (SI), Lendava Tourism and Development Institute (SI), Good Place Sustainable Tourism Institute (SI), Sárvár Tourist & TDM Non-profit Ltd. and Innotime Hungary Consulting and Services Ltd.
In the first month of the project, the partners started the preparation of the activities for their part of the project, signed working contracts with the project participants and agreed on the date and participants of the kick-off meeting in Hévíz in January 2025.
A project coordinator, a financial manager and a local product project manager from Pannon EGTC participate. The partners held a technical meeting in a joint online meeting on 3 December 2024. The participants discussed general information about the implementation and the tasks for the kick-off meeting in Hévíz on 15 January 2025.
Within the framework of the project, a uniform quality management system, a uniform monitoring system, pilot projects will be developed and a tourism database will be created based on uniform principles.
