Our joint project with V4 and Western Balkan universities launched

On 20 September, the implementation of the “Accelerating and Enhancing Green Transition: collaboration of universities in climate adaptation” project started.

The Pannon EGTC is the project leader and its partners are six European universities from Pécs, Brno, Komárno, Krakow, Sarajevo and Podgorica.

The partners held an online workshop on 18 October. The Pannon EGTC was represented by Dr Judit Füzér, Deputy Director of the Pannon EGTC, and Dr Tünde Tímea Csetnek, Project Manager of the project. During the meeting, the representatives of Pannon EGTC informed the partners about the general rules and procedures for the implementation of the project, presented information on accounting and budgeting, and presented the Partnership Agreement developed for the implementation of the project. The participants also reviewed the technical activities of the project and started to develop a common methodology for the technical document “Situation Analysis on the Status of Universities as Green Institutions”. During the meeting, the partners agreed to prepare the first version of the technical document by 9 December 2024 at the latest.

The Pannon EGTC and the University of Pécs have started to organise the kick-off meeting on 12-13 December, which will be attended by two experts from each partner. The meeting will take place in Pécs.
