The new partnership supports the European integration of the Western Balkans and long-term professional cooperation.

On September 12, 2025, in Podgorica, the Pannon EGTC signed a cooperation agreement with the Montenegrin ICT Cortex cluster, one of the most influential digital and innovation players in the Western Balkans. The Memorandum of Understanding establishes a long-term, trust-based partnership between the two organizations, which will provide a framework for numerous professional collaborations in the future.

The signing of the agreement is an important milestone for the Pannon EGTC, as the accession of the Western Balkans – and Montenegro in particular – to the European Union is of strategic importance to the work of our organization. The integration of the region, the strengthening of cross-border relations, and the development of stable, cooperation-based professional networks are goals to which the newly established partnership directly contributes.

The cooperation between Pannon EGTC and ICT Cortex creates a long-term opportunity for the two organizations to jointly support the development of the region, promote digital innovation, and strengthen professional relationships that can form the basis for future European cooperation. The partnership also signals that Pannon EGTC will continue to play an active role in deepening relations with the Western Balkans, contributing to the region’s EU integration and economic modernization.
