Journée d’information et d’échanges sur le groupement européen de coopération territoriale

Abstract

The Mission Opérationnelle Transfrontalière together with its founding partners organized an information and discussion day on the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) on November 16, 2006 at the Regional Administration Institute of Metz. The EGTC is a new legal tool resulting from community regulation 1082/2006. In particular, it is intended to facilitate the management of programs and the implementation of cross-border cooperation actions at the level of all the borders of the European Union. The objective of the day was to present this new structure, its interest in cross-border cooperation and the new perspectives it offers. This document is a chronicle of the presentations and debates of the event.
