EU level

The Report is about the application of the Regulation (EC) No 1082/2006 on a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC), it specifies the role of the European institutions and Advisory Bodies and member state’s implementation of the EGTC Regulation. It looks at the EGTCs in practice, like the motives to create and develop an EGTC, practical difficulties, creation and operation of an EGTC. Moreover, proposals and improvements are also articulated, this involves amendment to the EGTC Regulation, its clarification, improvements linked to other EU regulations and policies and improvements to gathering and dissemination of information.
