On 7 May 2025, the first thematic workshop of the BorderLabsCE project took place in Dresden, focusing on innovative tools and methods for cross-border spatial planning. Experts, decision-makers and pilot partners shared inspiring practices on overcoming obstacles and building a more integrated region.

Key topics included participatory governance, barrier management and the need for a renewed European vision.

The day ended with a networking tour along the Elbe River, where participants enjoyed the sights of Dresden while continuing their discussions in an informal and inspiring atmosphere.
