Electric bus line between Komárom and Komárno
Information
The first electric bus of Volánbusz was officially introduced on 15 June, and it will connect North and South-Komárom.
The tender was conducted by the INTERREG V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme. The inaugural ceremony took place at the BYD factory in Komárom. Thanks to the tender, the bus terminals and stations of both settlements will be renovated. Smart information boards will be placed at bus stops to provide passengers with up-to-date information about the services. The Pons Danubii EGTC is responsible for project management tasks.
