Arrabona EGTC

The foundation stone of the new community marketplace was laid on Saturday, which is to be built in Dunaszeg from an investment of 100 million HUF. The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development the development with budget of 64.86 million HUF. The tender writing and the management duties of the project are carried out by the Arrabona EGTC.

Agricultural Minister and Member of the Parliament of the region dr. István Nagy underlined in his greeting that “The atmosphere and the role of the local market is more and more stronger and its role is beyond any dispute within the society” . Moreover, he expressed that “In the life of a settlement, the value of the community, its components and the residents are the most important.  The market is an investment that improves the quality of life, it strengthens the local economy and it supports the retention of the region.” 

The Mayor of Dunaszeg, Attila Bados presented the advantages of the functions of space. 

“There will be a water system, a kitchen, a furnace, subsequently gastronomic presentations might be held as well. The tender budget was supplemented by the municipality with 35 million HUF from its own resources.”
