Pannon EGTC discussed cooperation opportunities with the University North
Information
Dr. Éva Mikes, the curator of the Universitas Quinqueecclesiensis Foundation, János Magdó, the Hungarian Consul General in Eszék and dr. Judit Füzér, the deputy director of the Pannon EGTC, visited Varaždin (Varasd) at the invitation of the University North, where possible cooperation with the rector and vice-rectors of the University were discussed.
Founded more than 17 years ago, the University North is the youngest state university in Croatia, which currently operates with two student centres in Koprivnica (Kapronca) and Varaždin. The Technical and Informatics Faculty of PTE, the University North, and the Baranya County Municipality have previously cooperated in a joint project in order to establish an integrated settlement development training program that enables students to determine cross-border development directions.
The University has declared its intention to join the Pannon EGTC. Possible future university collaborations and joint projects were also discussed at the meeting.
