The Rába-Danube-Váh European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation, in cooperation with the municipality of Trnava district (Trnavský samosprávny kraj) and the Széchenyi Programme Office Nonprofit LLC., has announced a call for proposals for financial contributions to the projects of the Small Project Fund implemented as part of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme.

Within the framework of the call, applications could be submitted under the priority axis PA4 (enhancing cross-border cooperation of public authorities and people living in the border area) until 03.12.2021. 

The Small Project Fund supports activities aimed to improve cross-border cooperation, such as: the organisation of joint conferences, workshops, knowledge-sharing events, the implementation of activities aiming to preserve cultural and natural heritage, the development of joint strategies and studies, the planning and development of joint professional programmes and services of public institutions in the fields of education, sport, culture, environmental protection, health and social care, the implementation of programs supporting bilingualism (e.g production of brochures, books, DVDs, short films, the planning and presentation of theatrical performances and cultural events to strengthen cross-border partnerships). Eligible applicants mainly include municipalities, churches, public institutions, schools and other institutions from 7 regions (in Hungary the capital Budapest, the counties of Pest, Komárom-Esztergom and Győr-Moson-Sopron, in Slovakia the districts of Bratislava, Nagyszombat and Nitra).

The full list containing country specificities can be found in the handbook, which contains all the legal forms and statistical classification codes of economic activities that are eligible for applications. Applicants can apply for grants of between €20 000 and €50 000 funded by the EU budget (ERDF) of €618 176.52.
