The aim of the project is to revive, demonstrate and promote local cultural heritage, local memory, local traditions, forgotten myths and family stories of the town. By actively involving the community, its bond to the town and local identity can be strengthened.

The primary and direct target group is the citizens of Győr, with a particular focus on young people (between the ages of 16-30), especially secondary school and university students.

Within the framework of the project, a hiking trail will be established involving the local history, the cultural characteristics and the urban myths of Győr. In order to develop the trail, community action will be organised twice, during which, we aim to explore forgotten myths and family stories in connection with Győr in the spirit of community building. The cultural local history tour will consist of the stories and information gathered during these community actions. The urban myths gathered during community actions and presented during the local history tours, the local history as well as the family stories of Győr will be demonstrated at a photo exhibition. In order to record and digitise these myths and family stories, there are plans to create a publication and a video within the framework of the project.
