The aim of the project is to explore and define new tools through the cooperation of organisations operating in certain functional areas (sports, culture, art, creative economy) that would help involving the youth and residents of Győr in community activities. Furthermore, involving non-profit organisations would provide space for cooperation and collaboration, as a result of which, the long-term development of the organisations would be ensured as well. Within the framework of the project, a series of workshops called ‘efficient community’ is implemented, the aim of which is to involve organisations primarily operating in functional areas (sports, culture, art, creative economy) in Győr, and to increase the efficiency of promoting community activities. The series of workshops consists of 5 sessions, involving specialists, who share good practices and experiences in specific thematic areas, along with having a possibility to consult with them. Within the framework of activities promoting self-organisation and social activity, a ‘recruiting community action’ will be organised 4 times during the project, based on self- organisation. The aim of this action is to demonstrate the institutions’ activities to the youth, encouraging them to participate in sports and cultural community activities. The institutions and organisations participating in the workshops will have the chance to take part in the action, and to utilise the knowledge they acquired during the workshops. The biggest commitment of the project is the 750 contest, within the framework of which, a 750-minute-long contest is organised involving the younger generation (ages between 16-30), in line with the Győr 750 series of programmes. The contests are repeated 4 times, the topics of the contests include art, sports, culture and creative economy.
