Arrabona EGTC

The primary objective of the Builcogreen project is to make the urban areas of the border region more liveable and effectively operable. As a result, the cooperating partners want to encourage regional partnership covering several topics, under the direction of the lead beneficiary the Arrabona EGTC. The project logic was structured around three highlighted metiers.

During the series of workshops organised in the framework of the project, the participants can consult experts about practices regarding municipality management and locally formed good practices. The two-day-long workshops were structured around four topics, and a partner municipality was assigned to each topic:

• waste management (Győr),
• beautyfing municipalities, bringing flowers into the municipality (Mosonmagyaróvár),
• operating municipal landscapes (Šamorín)
• operating cemeteries (Dunajská Streda).

Another highlighted activity is the mentoring service. Within its framework, 3-3 consultations are held in the previously mentioned topics.
The people implementing the project are planning to have sharing professional experiences and providing IT support supporting cooperation that increases the efficiency of municipality operation as the third main acitivity.

The main goal of this study is to identify the best practices and demonstrate the underlying capabilities and characteristics in each examined subject (like municipal waste management, flowers in the municipality, beautfying municipalities, operating public and military cemeteries, taking care of landscapes, taking care of plants in the territories).
