The research is mainly focused on the territory of Szigetköz and Csallóköz, with special focus on the municipalities of Győr and Dunajská Streda and heir catchment areas, and the investigation of their cultural and natural tourism. As a result of the project, the standards of the cultural events in two determining municipalities of the border region were increased. In Győr, this means technical equipment development, and in Dunajská Streda, the establishment of a new cultural event venue. Organised by the lead partner, a cultural action group is established (KACS), the members of which come from the representatives of the cultural institutions of the two municipalities. The aim of the KACS workshops is to create an effective and prosperous cooperation and an active discussion between the two municipalities in order to increase the charm and the visitors of the border region.
