Apor Kovács, the Director of the Gate to Europe EGTC gave a presentation at the Oradea Process’ seminar

Since 2012, the French-Hungarian Initiatives Association (INFH), the Oradea Metropolitan Zone and CESCI have been organising thematic conferences to strengthen and consolidate cooperation between Hungarian and Romanian institutions, municipalities and people.

B-Solutions

The B-Solutions 2.0 initiative is a continuation of the programme, launched by the European Commission in 2018 under the same name, to tackle cross-border barriers in the European Union. In particular, the programme provides expert assistance to cross-border areas and communities to develop specific solutions for cross-border legal obstacles.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade supports EGTCs with HUF 170 million in 2023

At the end of 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade launched a call for proposals to support the operational and project funding activities of the European Groupings for Territorial Cooperation in 2023. The available funding was HUF 170 million, of which a maximum of HUF 17 million per applicant could be awarded.

Gate to Europe EGTC on the Regional Development Workshops

Apor Kovács, Director of the Gate to Europe EGTC, took part in the “Regional Development Workshops – North-East Hungary Economic Development Zone” in Debrecen.

Development ideas of the Gate to Europe EGTC’s member settlements

At the beginning of 2022 the Gate to Europe EGTC published an information booklet about the development ideas of the EGTC’s member settlements. The Cooperation also prepared a 7-minute short movie on the same topic that is available to everyone:

The acquisition of equipment for the Civil Guard Society of Nyírmártonfalva

Nyírmártonfalva applied for administrative and office equipment, necessary for the operation of the Civil Guard’s office. With the help of the project the society can continue operating in a new office environment.

Rescue Guard

The aim of the project is the development of disaster management in the Romanian-Hungarian-Ukrainian tri-border region. The project will include the construction of a fire brigade barrack in Moftinu Mare (Comuna Moftin), the acquisition of disaster response tools for the volunteer fire brigade association of Vásárosnamény and the organisation of professional events with the participation of fire brigade units of the Zakarpatska Region.
