B-Solutions

The B-Solutions 2.0 initiative is a continuation of the programme, launched by the European Commission in 2018 under the same name, to tackle cross-border barriers in the European Union. In particular, the programme provides expert assistance to cross-border areas and communities to develop specific solutions for cross-border legal obstacles.

It is possible to apply for the open call, among others, in the following areas: employment, public transport, health, including emergency services, institutional cooperation, multilingualism, eGovernment, information services and statistical data.

Among the EGTCs with Hungarian participation, the Gate to Europe, Pannon and Mura Region EGTCs submitted successful applications in the spring of 2023. The Gate to Europe EGTC’s proposal looks for solutions for obstacles to cross-border employment in agriculture. The Pannon EGTC aims to find the possibility of cross-border distribution of local products. The Mura Region EGTC would like to improve the regulatory framework for water tourism services in Mura and the Croatian-Hungarian border region. The projects of all three EGTCs are already in the second round, with concrete proposals for solutions.
