After a long break, the programming phase of the Hungarian-Croatian Cross-Border Programme has finally started again. The representatives of the two countries began the negotiations at Čakovec on 29 March 2022.

The Rába-Duna-Vág Limited Liability European Territorial Cooperation was established in 2011 as an autonomous, non-profit organisation composed of local authorities with legal personality. The primary task of the Cooperation is to implement cooperation programmes in the administrative territory of its members and realize programmes and projects through other EU funding mechanism.
The main purpose of the RDV EGTC is to strengthen economic, social and territorial cohesion in the area of operation; to promote cross-border regional cooperation by the various development axes and to create a permanent institutional structure covering the entire Hungarian-Slovak Danube area. The RDV EGTC is dedicated to support every initiative that can draw the attention of the world to the region. The most important aspect of successful cross-border cooperation is that people accept and understand each other and they are able to continue to work together.
