The Rába-Danube-Váh European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability was established in 2011 as an autonomous, non-profit grouping composed of local authorities with legal personality. The primary task of the Grouping is to implement cooperation programmes or some parts of them in the administrative territory of its members, as well as to implement programmes and projects in territorial cooperation through other EU funding mechanisms available by the European Union and the Grouping.

Every anniversary is also a milestone, which provides an opportunity to make a statement and it indicates the path which has been made since the start. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Grouping,, a Jubilee Publication is planned to summarise the activities, experiences and achievements of the last ten years.

The Rába-Danube-Váh EGTC mainly focuses on supporting transport infrastructure, energy system, information technology, engineering, tourism, education, culture, religion and sport, but the management of joint projects, the support of small and medium enterprises, environmental protection and agriculture fomr part of the cooperation projects, too. The main previous projects of the EGTC are briefly presented, like the Circular Economy, the Silver Economy, the Herbaland, the Food Industry and the most important activity of the Grouping, namely the implementation of the Small Project Fund in the Western programme area.

In addition, the short-term objectives, future development and other strategically important activities of the RDV EGTC will also be presented in the publication. Thanks to the achieved results, the Grouping has become a key actor of and an active participant in the social and economic development of the region. Since the establishment, the Grouping has proved that cooperation can make wonders and we are hopeful that we will have the opportunity to continue as a key player in creating the value-added work and to enrich people who live on both sides of the border.
