The aim of the strategy is to reduce the outflow of young talent from the region of the General Council of Košice, mapping the comprehensive inherent potential and the substantial, financial and institutional resources of the region of Košice.

The first part of the strategy investigates the demographic analysis of the population in the region of Košice. The second part focuses on the opportunities offered by the region of Košice to the people over 50. A substantial part of the strategy is the proposal, which showcases specific examples that support the active lifetyle of people over the age of 50.
The project was supported by the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional Development of the Slovak Republic. The main objective of the project was to prepare four project documentations, for the following partners: The municipalities of Kokšov-Bakša, Nižná Myšľa, Vinné and Michalovce.
