Environmental issues are becoming an increasingly discussed topic and the first step to address them is to raise awareness and educate young people in this field. EGTC Via Carpatia within the project “Improving students’ environmental responsibility!” organized in cooperation with CESCI-Carpathia training courses on the topic of circular economy, sustainable development, ecology and waste separation for primary and secondary school students.
Educating students in the circular economy and ecology is an important prerequisite for meeting the goals of sustainable development. On 18th February 2022 the Via Carpatia EGTC organized the training for teachers within the project “Improve the environmental responsibility of students!”.
On February 8, 2022, an online cross-border Workshop organized by Infoklaszter, one of the project partners, in cooperation with the EGTC Via Carpatia and the City of Košice took place within the implementation of the SKHU IT EDUCATION project of the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary cooperation program.
As part of the project “Turisztikai fejlesztés az EGTC területén”, a two-day Team Building was held in Szilvásvárad.
The marketplace was built as part of the SKHU Markets project within the framework of the Interreg V-A SK-HU Cooperation Program from the European Regional Development Fund.
On 7 July 2021, a forum entitled “Let’s jointly plan the applications for the next programming period” was held in Keresztéte.
In the first days of July 2021, a meeting was organised called “Thematic evening focused on innovations” where project partners and representatives of universities in Košice took place.
As part of the Szépcserehát Territorial Action Plan for Employment, in May and June 2021, two rounds of the “Find your way to the labor market” training were implemented in Szepsi and Encs under the direction of the Via Carpatia EGTC.
The opening conference of the Build and promote local image project was held on June 23, 2021 within the framework of the Szépcserehát Territorial Action Plan for Employment.
