Arrabona EGTC

The Arrabona EGTC organized a conference with title ‘Actively in Kisalföld’. It was jointly organized with the city of Győr and the Aktív- és Ökoturisztikai Fejlesztési Központ (Active and Eco-tourism Development Centre) on 2 June 2022 . The attendees could listen to high-standard presentations and the  open roundtable discussion contrasted opinions. Máriusz Révész, State Secretary for an active Hungary, held a presentation at the event. The State Secretary underlined, “Győr is located in a very important place in terms of active tourism. On the one hand, it is an exciting place because of water tourism, and on the other hand, it has an excellent infrastructure for cycling. For example, we can mention the recently opened Győr-Pannonhalma cycle route. The aim of the government is to make Hungary one of the most liveable countries by 2030. The country has developed a lot in recent times and we want to continue this path,”. Furthermore, the EGTC’s future development plans regarding active tourism (water and cycling), which are planned to be implemented along the Moson Danube, were also presented at the event.
