The development opportunities for biomass-based energy production

On 2 June 2022, the Arrabona EGTC participated at the meeting which was held in the city hall of Győr. The aim was to identify the potential uses of green waste with the help of the active economic units of the city. The development and utilization of alternative and renewable energy systems may help to solve the energy crisis that has been unfolding right now and to tackle the significant increase in the prices of energy carriers. One such energy carrier might be the degradable “green” woody plant waste that has many alternative uses. Throughout the meeting, these many alternatives and their potential uses were presented. The EGTC participated in the event by supporting the consultation, the project creation process and the search for resources. In the future, the EGTC intends to formulate several project proposals related to the topic.
