Pons Danubii EGTC

On 14 June 2022, the regional conference, titled as “Development opportunities on the Slovakian side of the Danube and the Little Danube”, was organised by the Central Europe Foundation, the Slovak University of Technology and the Pons Danubii EGTC. The conference was hosted by Kolárovo, one of the member cities of the Pons Danubii. The conference offered appropriate space to present the beneficial practices and successful tenders of the Slovakian Danube region, as well as to build valuable professional relations and to discuss technical topics.

The tourism action plan of the Pons Danubii, which is still in preparation, was also presented. and it aims to develop water tourism in the region. The students from the Slovak University of Technology had the opportunity to present their visual designs which contained ideas about how to develop the water tourism of Komárno and Kolárovo. These visual designs are available to the public in both municipalities.
