The central building of the Verbunk dance tradition in Halászi was renovated with the help of the Arrabona EGTC

The Municipality of Halászi and the Arrabona EGTC have joined forces to renovate the building that is the main place where the Verbunk dance tradition is cultivated. The project was implemented under the call for proposals TOP_PLUSZ-1.1.3-21-GM1-2022-00007 and received non-refundable EU funding of 29.99 million forints.
For 15 years now, this building has been the venue for the traditional Bertóké Days, which attract more and more visitors and tourists to the area every year. The municipality is confident that the investment will further increase the popularity of the event and the number of visitors to the municipality, not only during the Bertóké Days but also beyond.
