The Hungarian Development Promotion Office signed a cooperation agreement with ETT Pannon

Direct funding is a major source of financing, with around €340 billion in the EU budget for 2021-2027. The funding targets set by the 24 different funds under this category will focus on a number of priority industries (e.g. energy, agriculture, health) and several important development pathways (e.g. digitalisation, innovation, external market access), while also addressing the importance of greening and climate protection.

Under the cooperation agreement, the Hungarian Development Promotion Office, an expert in EU funding, will provide advice to the Pannon EGTC to improve their access to direct EU funding and their chances of successful applications, mapping potential sources and presenting them in a targeted way, project management tasks up to the submission of the application, recommending proposal writing companies for jointly developed projects, assisting in the establishment of international partnerships and in the identification and channelling of suitable international consortia for selected projects.

The main focus of Pannon EGTC is to find direct EU funding opportunities that can involve partners from the Western Balkans. Joint work has started and the mapping of potential sources is currently underway.
