The Institute for Strategic Studies, in connection with the ministerial commissioner duties of its President, has successfully submitted a proposal titled “Bridge2EastCE – Bridge to the East” under the third call of the Interreg Central Europe Programme.
On February 5–6, 2026, the closing event of a project examining the good practices and institutional conditions of cross-border cooperation (CBC) between the Visegrád Four and Ukraine was held in Uzhhorod, organised by Uzhhorod National University.
From December 13-19, a group of children from the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast are vacationing at the Jánosi Helikon Hotel in Transcarpathia. This is the 11th time that children from Ukraine have been able to relax in Transcarpathia, thanks to financial support from the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Today, we welcomed children from Kharkiv region in Transcarpathia. This is the ninth group of children in three years and the fifth in a row from Kharkiv Oblast. These children came from the Slobozhanskyi urban community and the territorial communities of Donetsk, Vilhiv, and Prolisznyenszk.

The first EGTC workshop of this year took place on 9 April at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The event, at which Tisza EGTC was represented by Director Andrea Szabóné Cap, featured important and interesting presentations on the functioning and daily activities of EGTCs.
