Developments in Pons Danubii EGTC projects

The 3rd and closing international conference of the DANUrB+ Project was held in Budapest, Hungary, on 12 and 13 December 2022. The aim of the event was to disseminate all the experiences and achievements of the initiative.

Ongoing discussions within the framework of the REVITAL I project

In March 2023, several online professional consultations took place in the framework of the REVITAL I project, involving the experts of Tisza EGTC, the Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and researchers of the University of Miskolc and Geogold Ltd. The topic of the discussions was the progress of the Concept Note document, which was one of the results of the project.

MuKoBridge project closing conference

The closing conference of the MuKoBridge project was held on 30 March 2023, which included alternatives to the feasibility and environmental impact assessment of the road and cycling bridge between Murakeresztúr and Kotoriba and its connected parts.

B-Solutions

The B-Solutions 2.0 initiative is a continuation of the programme, launched by the European Commission in 2018 under the same name, to tackle cross-border barriers in the European Union. In particular, the programme provides expert assistance to cross-border areas and communities to develop specific solutions for cross-border legal obstacles.

Cross-border community building among young people

An international youth meeting took place in Lendava on 11 November 2022. The Slovenian and Hungarian youth had a chance to spend a meaningful day together, where, besides theoretical and sports games, they could gain insight into the regional and community development processes related to youth.

Crossbordair’s drawing competition successfully closed

Within the project “Cross-Border Interventions to Reduce Air Pollution and Improve Air Quality” (CrossBordAir), the European Border Cities EGTC launched two drawing competitions for primary school pupils in early 2023: one for pupils in Satu Mare called “Air pollution is the silent enemy” and one for pupils in Nyíregyháza called “Cleaner air for our future”.
