SHARE 1. sought good European practices in the field of sustainable cultural heritage protection. The pandemic has brought a drastic change in the tourism industry, therefore the willingness to travel has also been significantly reduced or transformed. As we move into a post-pandemic world, the economic recovery will be long and challenging.
The main objective of the project is to promote the internationalisation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the EU’s border regions, thus contributing to an increase in their competitiveness.
The Banat-Triplex Confinium EGTC (BTC EGTC) is geographically specific as it develops its activities to promote the effectiveness of cooperation in the border areas between Romania, Hungary and Serbia. Currently, it’s playing a key role in the technical coordination and the implementation of the Scholarship and Mentoring Programme of the Interreg-IPA Hungary-Serbia Cross-border Cooperation Programme under the title SCHOLAR SME.
A new project was added to the successful cooperation between the Győr-based Arrabona EGTC and the Žitný ostrov Regional Tourism Association (OOCR). At the final press conference of the project last week, it was also revealed what future projects would be implemented to boost tourism in the two border regions.
The small project SKHU/WETA/1901/4.1/301 LiBLAB was implemented through the cooperation of the libraries of two of the founding member cities of the Arrabona EGTC, Győr (HU) and Somorja (SK), while the EGTC contributed to the preparations and project management activities.
In summer 2021, after more than ten years, the organisational logo and image has been refreshed and renewed.
The completion of the professional touristic guide about the regions Győr, Szigetköz and Csallóköz was preceded by a survey research and an in-depth interview research.
In the framework of the EGTC-winning tender with the ID TOP-7.1.1-16-H-ESZA-2020-01590, Arrabona organises a series of contests for high school students, where the contestants are given a chance to compete against one another in the field of sport, culture and creative economy.
