Arrabona EGTC

A new project was added to the successful cooperation between the Győr-based Arrabona EGTC and the Žitný ostrov Regional Tourism Association (OOCR). At the final press conference of the project last week, it was also revealed what future projects would be implemented to boost tourism in the two border regions.

Gábor Somogyi, director of the OOCR and the thermal baths in Dunajská Streda, talked about the developments that have been achieved in the framework of the ProTour project, which has just ended. Zoltán Tamás Németh, director of the Arrabona EGTC, said that they had carried out a study to assess the current situation of the members, their experiences and their goals. People involved in tourism were able to take part in a professional study tour and listen to presentations on, for example, the possibilities of online marketing.
