The Arrabona EGTC has launched a call for a competition for the design of waterfront lookouts, which are planned to be implemented within a short term by the municipality of the planning area, closely related to water and wildlife.
The municipalities and other institutions of the Arrabona EGTC have received a grant from the Small Project Fund under the Interreg-V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme, Small Project Fund– Enhancing cross-border inter-institutional cooperation and broadening cross-border cooperation between citizens PT4 programme.
The winning teams of the 750 contest organised by Arrabona EGTC have received their well-deserved reward which was handed out by the Mayor of Győr, Dr. Csaba András Dézsi.
The Arrabona EGTC organised a series of contests for secondary school students to test their skills, talents and creativity in the fields of sport, culture and the creative economy. The competition aimed to strengthen cooperation between active communities in Győr.
At the ‘Active Hungary Beginning of an Era Conference 2021’, held on 25-26 November 2021 in Siófok, Hungary, a special session was dedicated to tourism networks. During the conference, almost all the speakers spoke about the importance of tourism networks, such as cycling, walking, rowing and horse riding routes.

This round was dedicated to culture and arts and therefore it was organised in collaboration with the Dr. Kovács Pál Library and Community Space, in the Kisfaludy Károly County Library.

A new project was added to the successful cooperation between the Győr-based Arrabona EGTC and the Žitný ostrov Regional Tourism Association (OOCR). At the final press conference of the project last week, it was also revealed what future projects would be implemented to boost tourism in the two border regions.
The small project SKHU/WETA/1901/4.1/301 LiBLAB was implemented through the cooperation of the libraries of two of the founding member cities of the Arrabona EGTC, Győr (HU) and Somorja (SK), while the EGTC contributed to the preparations and project management activities.
In summer 2021, after more than ten years, the organisational logo and image has been refreshed and renewed.
