Final conference of the INNOCENTRE project

The final conference of the INNOCENTRE project was held on 9 May. This project has created an innovation centre in Komárno to facilitate cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises on both sides of the Danube, providing space for conferences, professional meetings and workshops. In addition to meeting and conference rooms, an equipment park has been set up and made available to businesses. In cooperation with the Innovative Education Institute, the EGTC also intends to operate the building as a training centre. The centre will also provide space for a virtual reality classroom, created with the support of Hungarian software development companies, to promote this modern technology in Slovakia. In addition, robotics training for young people and children will be launched. The support of the Interreg SKHU Programme made possible the purchase of the land, the construction of the building, its furnishing, the purchase of solar panels, the construction of the garden coupled with an irrigation system and the purchase of equipment. The total budget of the project is EUR 1 786 812,41, of which 85% is of ERDF: EUR 1 518 790,54.
