The Georgia project focuses on developing and improving the social and business ecosystem of enterprises at the regional level. The goal is to support local entrepreneurs by building a network of local stakeholders based on the principles of local economic development and regional branding. Funding is provided on the basis of the experience of the Visegrad countries.

Most of the Visegrad partners have direct links to high-level expertise in the field of regional development and regional branding. Drawing on this experience, support for the local entrepreneurial ecosystem is effectively implemented by creating functional structures that benefit both the municipality (local government) and the local entrepreneurs.

The project aims to increase the economic value of the region and improve local socio-economic conditions by bringing together stakeholders in the region and creating a new development strategy. The initiative of the Kakheti region will serve as a pilot project for other regions of Georgia, the representatives of which will be invited to join the regional branding scheme as soon as it is established.
