Crossbordair’s drawing competition successfully closed

Within the project “Cross-Border Interventions to Reduce Air Pollution and Improve Air Quality” (CrossBordAir), the European Border Cities EGTC launched two drawing competitions for primary school pupils in early 2023: one for pupils in Satu Mare called “Air pollution is the silent enemy” and one for pupils in Nyíregyháza called “Cleaner air for our future”.
The competition was extremely popular and hundreds of works were received by the deadline. Special prizes were awarded for lower and upper grade studentsand special prizes were also awarded.
The awards were presented in Satu Mare by the mayor Gábor Kereskényi, in Nyíregyháza Dr. Attila Ulrich, deputy mayor of the city and István Gál, director of the European Border Cities EGTC.
